…’ I am just so grateful to all at Back 2 Balance for my care’ …

Initial Examination and Scan
You will be asked for details of your previous medical
history. There will be plenty of time to for you to explain
what is wrong. After taking a thorough case history, our
Chiropractor will perform a comprehensive examination
and an in-depth biomechanical assessment to find out
what is wrong and determine if Chiropractic is likely to
help.
X-rays
These are taken at our Clinic by your qualified Chiropractor
if visual information on your spine or joints is needed.
Report of Findings
This will be given at your second visit or later, if X-rays
or further tests are needed. We will explain what is
wrong, what can or cannot be done and what you
should expect. Then the most appropriate treatment
plan for your condition will be outlined.
Treatment
Treatment usually involves precise gentle manipulation,
called an 'adjustment', of the spine or other joints. This
is combined with advice and patient education.
Response to Treatment
Acute recent conditions often respond quickly and
dramatically. Chronic longstanding problems generally
take longer to respond. We can help most, though not all,
patients even when other approaches have failed.
Check-ups
If your problem has become chronic (longstanding), or
re-occurs frequently, you may benefit from periodic
check-ups to maintain improvement - much like regular
servicing for your car!
Rehabilitation
New research has shown Chiropractic plus rehabilitative
exercise works best for chronic or frequently recurring
problems. We employ evidence-based protocols which
have been shown to be very effective for improving
muscular strength and spinal stability.
Your GP
Most patients consult us on their own initiative after
personal recommendation. Many GP's also refer
patients. Where possible it is best to inform your GP
Refer a Friend
Most new patients are recommended by previous patients.
We appreciate referrals of family and friends and offer a
'refer a friend' scheme. Please ask for more information
when visiting.
Private Health Insurers
Most health insurance schemes cover Chiropractic yet individual policies vary. Please check with your insurer. You will need to see certain Chiropractors at Back 2 Balance, Hove for certain insurance firms, so please advise us as soon as possible of your insurance arrangements.
Fees
Fees are due for payment at each visit. Our pre-payment
scheme can save you money off your treatments.

Free Health Care Classes
Back 2 Balance runs a fortnightly health class aimed at improving patients understanding of their spine and health issues.
Our health class is a vital part of new Patients Treatment Plan and helps to explain all those tricky ‘do’s and don’ts,’ taking less than one hour, free of charge and actively encourage friends and non-patients to join us.
The Class is a light-hearted way of interacting with people in a similar position to our patients as well as an ideal opportunity to have Chiropractic questions answered.
The talk is also available to local community and business groups, being highly informative and tailored for specific groups’ needs. Please ask for more information. |
