Dr David Brown - Associate
Chiropractor (www.drbrownchiropractor.co.uk)
DC BSc Hons Chiro MUCA
Undertakes work for most major health insurance providers including
AXAPPP and HSA
Dr David Brown brings a personal philosophy that life is about thriving…
not just surviving! It’s something that he tries to bring into every
aspect of his life both inside and outside of the clinic.
Originally from the North West of England, David went in the opposite
direction to his family background of Medical General Practitioners
(GPs) in preference of a more natural solution in Chiropractic. He
studied for his Degree in Chiropractic in Cardiff at the Welsh Institute
of Chiropractic before seeking out the sun of Brighton four years ago
and is now enjoying his fourth year of practice at Back 2 Balance.
|
David firmly enjoys the diversity of patients seen
within the clinic, from correcting abnormal adolescent curvatures to
helping geriatric patients just be able to walk a little easier; each
day brings so much satisfaction. Having trained with a variety of
techniques, David believes in adapting his treatment to suit the
individual and specific needs of each patient.
Through extensive postgraduate training David has found a special
interest in extremity chiropractic and the relationship for example that
ankles or shoulders might have on ongoing spinal complaints. Hungry for
more David is currently studying for his CCEP (Certified Chiropractic
Extremity Practitioner) qualification and become a true expert in this
field. |

Dr Marie-Christine Dix- Associate
Chiropractor
M.Chiro MBCA
Undertakes work for most major health insurance providers
including AXAPPP and HSA
Dr Marie-Christine Dix originally from the Channel Islands, studied
for her Masters degree in Chiropractic at the prestigious Anglo
European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. Marie-Christine’s
introduction to Chiropractic began in her teens when receiving
chiropractic care for a sports injury whilst playing badminton for
Dorset. It was during this time that she observed the benefits of
chiropractic not only in pain relief but also with regard to
performance in sport and overall health. |
Marie-Christine has a firm belief that health should be
one of the main priorities in life, and prevention is always better than
cure. Having treated patients from a few days old to late nineties,
Marie-Christine enjoys all aspects of chiropractic and believes no-one
should have to “put up” with those aches and pains that get blamed on
“age”. Chiropractic can help build and maintain a robust and healthy
body, capable of dealing with all that life throws at it. She believes
that chiropractic should be available to all ages and as such offers to
treat all her patients little ones at no charge, to ensure they receive
the benefits of chiropractic care.
Marie-Christine has also completed the further qualification to use dry
needling and has also taken courses in treatment of the pregnant patient
and paediatrics, and further courses in chiropractic neurology and
Activator technique. She is dedicated to promoting health within the
local community through regular health talks at Back to Balance and has
also offered advice on back care issues on Radio Reverb (Sussex). |
